FOOD FOR THOUGHT
When 45-year-old Mike and his 68-year-old father both recently had major surgeries, your gifts were there to help give them nutritious food to speed their healing.
Mike has had to rely on Social Security Disability benefits most of his adult life, and he lives with his parents. But sometimes, their combined incomes just aren't enough to afford healthy groceries once all the other bills are paid.

The family shops at the less expensive grocery stores, but even those aren't always affordable on a fixed income. Especially since the family has added medical expenses from recent surgeries.
That's why Mike is so grateful to pick up groceries once a week from Flames 2 Fire Food Pantry in Centerton, a partner agency of the Food Bank. He's especially thankful for the fresh produce, bread and meat available there.
Mike is happy that he and his father are both healing well now with good nutrition to speed the process. Though Mike still has some health struggles, he's in much better shape because of you.
"Thank you," he says to donors like you, who make food pantries like Flames 2 Fire possible. "It helps a lot."
When you give, you bring great health and encouragement to countless neighbors like Mike and his parents. We are so grateful for your commitment to hunger relief in our community!
