FOOD FOR THOUGHT

As part of Hunger Action Month, the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank is holding a one-day fund-raising campaign to help fill the shelves of the local food pantries. The NWA Food Bank collects food every day that is distributed to more than 150 pantries and feeding programs across the region. This campaign is another way to help fill the shelves of those hunger relief partners.

Donors can designate their favorite food pantry or feeding program during the online campaign.

“We are making it easy for donors to support their local pantry or feeding program on Friday, Sept. 29, where donors can designate their gift to their local pantry, said Mike William, director of development.

“One hundred percent of each gift will be set aside for the agency the donor chooses, and the agencies will use those funds to fill their shelves with food.”

The campaign will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 29.

Contributions may be made at www.nwafoodbank.org/HAM.
