One of the core values of the KraftHeinz company is to “grow a better world.” And with their longstanding relationship with Northwest Arkansas Food Bank, they’re doing just that.
“We live and work in this community, so we feel we should help,” says Shawn Boss, head of sales for the company.
KraftHeinz has contributed financially to the Food Bank through matching gifts and event sponsorships, and also through generous food donations.
Last year, the company contributed one truck–load of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and one truck–load of Stove-Top Stuffing and Heinz Gravy for holiday meals. This year, KraftHeinz increased their support to include four truckloads of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and one truckload of Stove-Top Stuffing and Heinz Gravy.
And employees of KraftHeinz see that it’s equally important to contribute their time to the Food Bank. Josh Bruns is associate director and said without seeing the work there, people may miss the need that exists.
“It’s important to go see what’s happening at the food bank,” says Josh, who — along with fellow employees — also makes time to volunteer at the Food Bank.
Josh and Shawn both emphasized that though KraftHeinz is a global company, they maintain a strong focus on communities where they live and work.
We’re so thankful to KraftHeinz for their continued partnership with the Food Bank. Their generosity helps put food on the tables throughout our region. Thank you KraftHeinz!
